When Beacon Grille opened in January 2010, it did so with the announced interest of operating the restaurant for a few years to prove the potential of the TradeCenter 128 site, and then finding an experienced restaurant owner to take over.
We were delighted recently to announce that Beacon Grille has now been sold, effective July 1, 2013. Subject to the issuance of a new license, the restaurant will reopen in late July as Strega Prime, an Italian steakhouse. The new owner, Nick Varano, is a veteran restaurant operator with several highly respected local establishments, including the legendary Strega in Boston's North End and the newer, yet much-acclaimed Strega Waterfront at Fan Pier.
Beacon Grille will remain open through June 30, and until that time, its staff will be highly committed to delivering a first-class dining experience for guests. We are all very grateful for so much enthusiastic support and encouragement to date and look forward to our remaining opportunities to see our guests again before our last day.

Beacon Grille is a major amenity at TradeCenter 128 in Woburn, seating 300 guests for a la carte dining as well as private functions. A full-service destination restaurant, it is well worth the trip from all over greater Boston. Beacon Grille features contemporary American cuisine, including exceptional steaks, fresh seafood, and an impressive array of specialty entrées and side dishes.
An upscale casual dining establishment, Beacon Grille offers unpretentious, but upper-tier American fare. Its sophisticated décor, vibrant atmosphere, and approachable price points create a dining experience where everyone will feel welcome.
An independent restaurant, Beacon Grille caters to the professional needs of TradeCenter 128, the Middlesex County Superior Court, and hundreds of area businesses and organizations. It also serves the personal and family needs of the greater Woburn/Burlington area. Next, as its reputation extends regionally, it will be a destination restaurant to those from all over greater Boston. And finally, located adjacent to one of Interstate 95's busiest highway segments, it will, hopefully, serve the needs of travelers from all over the world!
Stop by for drinks in an alluring 90-seat bar and lounge, and stay for an exquisite meal with outstanding service in the main dining room. Groups may want to utilize one of five charming private dining areas, which accommodate 11, 28, 46, 80, or 252 guests. At lunchtime, take advantage of the Beacon Express Lunch, available both in the lounge, or to go.
